Google Cash Update Burned

Filed under: General GoogleCash News — chris at 9:06 pm on Friday, November 10, 2006

Checkout what happened to my office.Notice how the fire’s smoke “painted” the walls black?

That’s where my computer used to be, and my backup drives. Isn’t this crazy?

The smoke poored out of my office and painted the ceilings and walls of the rest of the house black.

Luckily no one was hurt, so it was no big deal. I did lose an expensive laptop, a ton of work and some other material things, but, again, thank goodness no one was hurt. And to think I almost left my dog inside my office when I left the house. That would have been really sad!
Several months ago I sent you an email asking you for your biggest question about Landing Pages and Adwords Affiliate Marketing. I told you that I would answer your questions in the next Google Cash update.

We compiled all of the questions we received and answered them in two calls and in 2 Special Reports.

As I was almost finished with the final touches, a freak accident occurred. I didn’t even know such an accident was possible, I wonder if you know that such a thing can happen?

In my office I have a few desks and tables. On one of the tables I have my external hard drives that I use for backing up my data. I have two externals. I back up to each of them thinking that if one fails, there’s another.

This day, I had been using my laptop outside under a palapa enjoying the ocean breeze. I set my laptop down on the table with the external hard drives. I didn’t return my laptop to its computer desk where I plug it in to a keyboard, monitor and mouse, since we were rushing out the door to go to town to have dinner. I just set it down on the table with the external hard drives and a few other gadgets that were on the table.

When we returned home after dinner, there was black smoke coming out of the front door of the house. I ran in the house wondering where the fire was. I knew that no one was home, so I wasn’t worried that anyone was hurt. And I knew that the house was relatively safe from fire as it is a concrete house.

I was thinking that perhaps it was a kitchen fire. As I walked in and passed the kitchen, no fire there, well maybe it’s the hot water heater or something like that, I thought. Nope. That’s weird, there’s smoke seeping through my office door. What could be burning in there?

I carefully opened the door and entered the office. And there where the table used to be with my laptop, 2 external drives, an ipod, and my digital camera – instead was a smoldering pile of ashes.

As you can see from the pictures – everything on the table burned up, gone.

I lost my computer and my backups. All of my recent work was lost.

When I first came upon it, I was in shock and disbelief and my mind started racing and jumping to all sorts of conclusions, such as, Foul Play, somebody sabotaged me. What’s going on here … How could this possibly have happened?

Shortly after all of my crazy farfetched hipotheses, my nearest neighbor came over and explained to me how lightning had hit the power pole in front of the house and that his house was without electricity.

We concluded that the lightning strike must have sent a surge of electricity to my house and that the powerstrip surgeprotector that was on my table with the laptop, exploded and caught fire burning everything on the table.

The smoke from the fire billowed out of the office and painted the ceilings black throughout the rest of the house (as you can see in the photos).

We’ve since cleaned up the office and repainted it and I am back working in it.

The Google Cash Update is also nearly complete and real soon I will send it to you.

Sorry for the delay in getting you the GC Update, but I think it will be worth the wait.

What’s New in the Google Cash 3rd Edition?

It will include:

* 55 page Special Report on Building Landing Pages
* 43 page Special Report on improving Google Adwords Campaign results
* Mp3 Audios of both special reports
* 10 Day Action Guide with daily action steps, checklists, and helpful insights
* A Google Slap workaround explained with video
* Organized so those who have used the ebook before can efficiently find the new material

Thanks again for being a Google Casher!

Don’t forget to unplug your powerstrips when leaving the house!

Please leave me your comments…Have you ever heard of a powerstrip catching fire?

Sorry for the fire damage. There are times I would like to burn my computer like that. I am a housing inspector in Cleveland Ohio and see a lot of bad fire damage. I am glad you and your family are OK. Keep your smoke alarms working. Look forward to the third edition, great stuff and great customer service.

Sorry about your luck!….That is so very rare that most “name brand” power strips/surge protectors come with a big money “guarantee” of 10k-100k dollars…but I’m sure you need the receipt and proof that if failed….good luck collecting that!

Hi Chris,

Sorry to hear about the fire and I am glad you are all ok.

I have never trusted local backups because it’s so easy to lose everything through fire, theft, etc.

I can highly recommend Connected DataProtector (http://onlinebackup.connected.com/) to create a secure remote backup. I’ve been a customer for 5 years and thankfully I’ve never had to use it for anything more than accidentally deleted files.

Looking forward to the GC update.

If it was a Dell, it was probably the battery that caught on fire. They’ve been publishing their recall for a few months now & there’s some spectacularly horrific photos out there of the laptops burning up.

I am sorry that yours did, and relieved that you & all your loved ones are well.

Chris,
So sorry to hear of your fire. I know how you felt. Several years ago my husband and I were out of town and got a call that there had been a fire in our house. We had two fireplaces, one on first floor and another directly beneath it in the basement. Lightning had struck our chimmney and blew out the fireplaces, destroyed most electrical things, including our computer. It even blew the doorbell off the entrance to our house. Yes, I do know how you felt. But, as you said, no one was hurt; which is the main thing. Looking forward to update of Google Cash.

And its on their remote servers so it does the backup in the background. You get 2GB of free backup.

Chris,

Astonished - at the event
Sad - at the loss of equipment, and in particular of the work
Glad - that that no-one, not even the dog, was hurt.

Some years ago I was refitting the kitchen of some missionary friends in Central Africa - where they have really immense thunder storms - and the one time I forgot to switch off the electric mains while I altered some electrics was the one time the house was hit by lightening!

It flashed from the mains box right across the kitchen with a mighty bang. By the grace of God I wasn’t touching anything, but I was chastened by the thought that just one careless lapse can have terrible consequences.

Back-ups? Perhaps it’s not such an old-fashioned idea after all, but I don’t think I’ll do it your way.

By the way, it’s not just Dell laptops with dangerous batteries; the latter were made by Sony and are in other laptops too.

P.S. I’ve heard of publicity stunts for a new release - but isn’t this going just a little too far?

“No publicity is bad publicity”

“Look, honey, I fried the dog”

(Just joking)

Even longer ago than the Africa incident we had a bungalow with no central heating at the time. We had a small paraffin heater in a central hallway which gave a little warmth to the whole place during the night - we purposely left the doors ajar. One very snowy night the Labrador dog somehow knocked the heater and set it smoking.

The dog woke one of the children who woke me to find the whole house full of thick smelly smoke. As soon as I opened an outside door, the dog was off like a rocket.

The ceilings and walls looked just like yours in the photos. Being very oily soot, they took a lot of cleaning and repainting.

By the time we managed to find the dog, he had apparently spent three days and nights lying in the middle of a snow-covered field. That’s what you call a guilty conscience!

Fortunately he recovered well and lived for many years.

Ugh man that stinks. I almost had something similar happen to me last night. I was in another room, and I heard a loud exploding sound come from my computer. I walked towards my computer and I heard it again coming from my monitor. I quickly unplugged it and got it out of the house. It wasn’t on fire yet, but I believe something was shorting out. So needless to say I ordered a new monitor and will be getting it shipped tomorrow haha. Luckily I was able to stop the problem before anything bad happened, and I got a new monitor out of it :P

Yes Chris I have heard about power strips catching fire in fact I have seen them catch on fire with my own eyes. I used to work for a company that made power strips and I used to test the power strips. Sometimes these thing would go up in smoke. I also would recieve back from customers their burned up power strips. Usually the burned up strips was due to lightning. So buyer beware if you buy a power strip to protect against lightning. Power strips can’t hold up to lightning even if the product is guarantee to do such. I always unplug my power strips during a lightning storm. You may also consider disconnecting you internet connection because lightning can travel down those lines also.

Hi Chris,

What an experience. Quite some lost though. Accept my heart felt sympathy. And I am quite excited that you’ve seen an opportunity in the experience.

What a blog you’ve now created. Perhaps you have also gotten from this experience some new perspective to the Google Cash 3rd Edition. Don’t you think it will be fantastic to know how the experience had lead to some (if any)new perspectives in youe final writing of the 3rd edition?

Personally, I would be delighted to know. And seeing the pics of your dog on this blog would be great.

How is your new labtop and office looking now? Great! I suppose.

I am really sorry for the lost, and I believe many of us can bear with the delay knowing you would come up with an outstanding 3rd edition.

However, one lesson I have learnt from your story is to always have multiple back ups. And all of them should never be on the same location anytime.

After the initial shock, it gives us opportunity to reflect upon the good that can come from such events… counting our blessings leads us to a stronger more productive life. I am thankful that your losses were only some hardware and hardwork… I am also thankful that only your computer’s memory was erased and not yours… I suspect in the long run your customers will benefit from the insight you have gained from this difficult experience.

What a bummer Chris. When I was a kid, lightning struck a friends house. It went through the electrical system and came out of a receptacle behind the couch in the living room. It jumped the air space between the couch and the wall and set the couch on fire. Evidently it was attracted by the metal springs in the couch, the couch must have been somewhat grounded. They were sitting there when it happened! Fortuantely, no one was hurt. The bottom line with lightning - anything is possable! Hope your life gets back to normal soon.

Yes, I have heard of lightening causing the destruction of computers and other electrical equipment and setting fires. There isn’t a surge protector made that can withstand a direct hit from lightening. Fortunately, it doesn’t happen very often. Glad to hear you are back up and running again and that no one was injured in the blaze. I am anxious to see what new things are in the third version of Google Cash. Certainly hope I can get a jump on the competition with the new information.

Hi Chris,

Glad to hear that you and the dogs are fine.

When I was a student at UC Santa Cruz, about 900 years ago, a lightning strike hit a power pole or line and the surge destroyed several computers in the lab. These were mini computers (halfway between a mainframe and a workstation.) I seem to remember the cost of the damage being pretty steep.

We always unplug our electronics during lightning storms, but the occasional stray bolt does happen.

Best to you and yours.

Sorry about you loss. I have worked in the electronics/electrical field all of my life. Yes I have heard of this. WHen lightning strikes the speed at which it travels allows it to do very strange things. SUch as pass thru small fuses only to destroy expensive electrical componets on the other end, without tripping any overload devices. I am glad that you and your family are safe. Never heard of surge protectors exploding, but there was a very recent recall of laptop computer batteries catching fire (no lightning required).

They were Sony batteries (I think) and the recall affected many laptop manufactures (Apple, Dell, etc.)

If you have one of the recalled brands, you may have recourse.

Hi Chris,
Glad everybody’s OK! Due to the nature and power of lightning, it has been known to do such things. Jumping accross circuit breakers and/or melting them happens pretty often, according to a friend of mine who is a fire marshal. A well embedded grounding rod correctly attached to the main service panel helps to reduce this danger. I lost a friend to lightning in Louisiana, so I have a deep respect for it.

Not all powerstrips are the same either. Usually, you get what you pay for. I read somewhere that the cheaper ones are less reliable when it comes to protection.

Thanks for the “heads-up”—and best wishes!

Hi Chris

That’s lucky that the table was not near any easily ignited materials like curtain, etc…., or the damages may be worst. That’s one lesson we can learn too, huh?!

Glad that no one was hurt, that’s the most important.

Take care

Chris, you thoughts are in the correct direction…no one was injured, it was only stuff… however, you drive to recover rapidly is part of your sane drive to succeed , we are luck you have this drive. I used to work for a small computer co. We loved lightning strikes because we would resell a lot of equipment. (this was in Jacksonvill FL-the lightning capitol of the world) You might look into your house electrical grounding rods. If they are securly placed with strong contact from your house electrical system, any strike will ground to the rods and not cause damage to your house. (the strike will go the path of least resistance, i.e. to (the) ground.) Keep the good stuff comming. We appreciate your talent and drive.

Keep up the good work Chris can’t wait so see the update you did. I’m sure it’ll be a great success you’ll replace all the material and more :)

I’ll echo what Lara said that it might have been the laptop battery. But Dell isn’t the only one with a recall. It’s a widespread situation with Apple, HP, Lenovo, and others which have a recall.
I think this was more likely the problem instead of the power strip.

Chris,

Here is a tip that would have saved you all that grief…

Had you read the disaster recovery chapters in “The Hacker’s Nightmare”, you would have known at least two different ways to backup your important work so that it could *never* be lost, no matter where your equipment was or what happened to it.

And if it hadn’t been fire it could just as easily have been a thief, worm, virus, trojan, hacker, key-logger, rootkit, vandal, flood/burst pipes etc. etc. etc.

Frankly, I’m getting fed up with trying to get influential people like yourself to pass on the safety and security message to others who are influenced by your recommendations.

It seems that professional, successful, influential online marketers are even more blind to the necessity to be proactive with security of data than even the average newbie. At least the newbie doesn’t think he already knows everything that it’s necessary to know.

Internet marketers, on the other hand, seem to be completely blind to everything outside their own narrow area of expertise. I’m tired of hearing the silly response: “But security is not what I do; my customers wouldn’t be interested”.

The fire was a wake-up call Chris, but did you really learn anything substantial from it. Frankly, to me, it doesn’t sound like it: “…please beware of ungrounded power strips and leaving your computer and backup in the same place!!!”.

Yes, but not nearly enough. Regardless of the disaster type/cause, I can walk out of my house empty-handed, go to anywhere in the world, hire a PC/laptop, and be back in business in no time.

EVERYBODY in business should be able to do the same thing.

If at some time in the future you decide you’d like to preempt future disasters, help spread the word AND make some good commission as well, let me know. You now have your own disaster story to tell, and your customers WOULD be interested in not having the same experience.

Best regards,

PS. I’m very glad you recovered, because I loved Google Cash and I’m looking forward to the next edition.

PPS. You wouldn’t believe the number of “lost data” stories I hear, yet everyone still thinks “it couldn’t happen to me”. Guess what?

Hi Chris,

Man what a mess that made…..so sorry to hear about your fire.

When I worked for a major brewing company in Australia, the EDP department always stored their backup tapes off site in the event of a fire, flood or theft. In your case, storing backups in a separate building like a garage or shed would do the trick……unless you’re in a bushfire prone area. LOL

Anyway I certainly look forward to Edition 3 of Google Cash. As my Google campaigns eat up all my profit from affiliate programs this year grrrrrr……its getting so competitive in many good markets (esp. for CPA and CPC offers in insurance, ringtones etc)………and would love to see your solution for landing pages.

I’ve automated my trackable landing page generation using Excel, Website Content Wizard and Adwords Editor (from Google). So I can generate 100’s of unique landing pages (ie. with unique topic related copy) and produce 100’s of targetted adgroups in seconds……..once its setup :)

Here’s an example of one:

Note: Topic related copy is below the fold……call to action is above the fold. ;)

Dear Chris.
I’ve never seen or heard about something like your fire. TVs are not seldom, but not this.I’ve been very buissy in our shop so I opened you letter days later and what a shock. If you had been here, living in Norway your whole home would have been ashes - we live in wooden houses in our little corner of the world. Electrisity is the main course to all our fires,I think we have the world record in that respect, so fires are nasty and scarry. So I’m impressed over your fast “recovery”, back in business.
And I read all your information with plassure and feel I’m soon ready to have enough knowledge to start.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Chris. But at least no one was harmed that’s about all you can ask for from such an event.

No I’ve never heard of anything like that. But I have to ask what kind of laptop did you have. Earlier this year battery packs on some laptops were recalled. Don’t assume it was the surge protector. You mentioned you were using your laptop and set it on the table that burned when you left.

Read this report and check out the information I googled below.
http://www.gizmodo.com/gadgets/frankenreview/gizmodo-frankenreview-sony-laptop-battery-recalls-206687.php

IBM recalls:
Q1. Which ThinkPad notebook PC models are affected by the recall?
Customers who bought a ThinkPad or optional or replacement battery between February 2005 and September 2006 may have a Sony battery subject to the recall.
Q2. How can I find out if my battery is being recalled?
Go to www.lenovo.com/batteryprogram to determine if your Sony battery is affected by the recall. If you prefer to call a Service Center, a worldwide phone list is also available at www.lenovo.com/batteryprogram.

Dell recalls:
Dell has identified a potential issue associated with certain batteries sold with Dell Latitude™, Inspiron™, XPS™ and Dell Precision Mobile Workstation™ notebook computers. In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and other regulatory agencies, Dell is voluntarily recalling certain Dell-branded batteries with cells manufactured by Sony and offering free replacements for these batteries. Under rare conditions, it is possible for these batteries to overheat, which could pose a risk of fire.

Potentially affected batteries were sold with the following models of Dell notebook computers or separately as secondary batteries:

* Latitude: D410, D500, D505, D510, D520, D600, D610, D620, D800, D810
* Inspiron: 500M, 510M, 600M, 700M, 710M, 6000, 6400, 8500, 8600, 9100, 9200, 9300, 9400, E1505, E1705
* Precision: M20, M60, M70, M90
* XPS: XPS, XPS Gen2, XPS M170, XPS M1710

The batteries were shipped to customers between April 1, 2004 and July 18, 2006. The words “DELL” and “Made in Japan” or “Made in China” or “Battery cell made in Japan, Assembled in China” or “Assembled in Taiwan” are printed on the back of the batteries.

Hewlett-Packard recalls:
Sold at: National and regional computer and electronics stores, online stores, hp.com and hpshopping.com from March 2004 through May 2005 for between $1,000 and $3,000. The battery packs also were sold separately for between $100 and $130.

Name of Product: HP and Compaq Notebook Computer Battery Packs Units: About 135,000 battery packs worldwide, including about 85,000 in the U.S. Importer: Hewlett-Packard Company, of Palo Alto, Calif. Hazard: An internal short can cause the battery cells to overheat and melt or char the plastic case, posing a burn and fire hazard.

Incidents/Injuries: HP has received 16 reports of batteries overheating, including four in the U.S. No injuries have been reported. Four cases of minor property damage were reported, including one in the U.S.

Sorry about the fire damage.
Why was the power strip ungrouned? Was your power strip UL certified?
I work for a Electrical Generation Utility and occasionally we get Safety Flashes about faulty
electrical devices (eg: power strip or power bars extension cords etc.)and about counter fit approved electrical device (not UL or other governing body approved although it is stamped on the device).
Even the best stores get fooled by these counter fit devices.
I hope that your house restoration goes smooth.

Chris, a couple of suggestions: while you’re fixing your house have a GFI (ground fault interupter) circuit breaker put in to protect your electronic like the one that protects your bathroom. It could save the day better than just surge protectors. Try cleaning of the smoke then priming the walls and ceiling with KILZ primer to seal the smoke and fire odor prior to painting. It will keep you from getting that scent of old smoke.

Chris, never have I seen a laptop getting burnt up on a desktop in such a disastrous manner. Even if your blackened walls and ceilings are Photoshop effects, those massacred plastics and debris on the desktop couldn’t have been faked. So, I tend to believe you.

What’s more, your coming up with Google Cash Version 3.0 for your past buyers is simply too generous. I hope you keep them coming. I mean, about 100 pages of updates & new materials, 10 days step by step action guide, and video training… all for free?!

This beats the crap out of another FedEx-Category Adsense guru who requires previous buyers to pay for each new update. It shows you care more, that much I can be sure of. BIG thanks!

If I previously failed to see what was all the hoo-ha about the Google Cash Method, perhaps this time it’d be clearer. Well for once I’m glad I didn’t take myself out of your clientele.

And best wishes to your new found resolve to continue your services, to your safe and sound family, your newly painted house, and your lucky dog too :)

Sorry to hear about your fire. Yes, I have heard of power surge strips burning. Our house was struck by lightning and everything protected by a surge strip was crispy crittered. The things we would have liked to replace like the refrigerator, old tv, and old vcr were fine because they were not protected. Things we wanted to protect, like our 4 computers, monitors, keyboards, mouses, new dvd player, phones, printers, scanners were all fried. The carpet was scorched and black smoke on the wall beside the surge protector.

Chris,

Sorry about your accident. You are not alone. I would like to share my bad experience with Power Mac G5. On October 22, 2006 when I tried to turn my Power Mac G5, I jumped back in shock as the computer made several loud “POP” sounds during 30-40 seconds and I saw sparks coming out from the back. Then I’ve heard the burning noise inside the computer and burning smell came from the back of the computer. I immediately run to the laundry room and turned off all electricity in my apartment. The fire inside the computer has been extinguished, but the toxic smell remained. I have inspected the back of the computer and there was a black spot from the fire on the fan cover.

I was lucky that I was at home during that terrible incident otherwise my apartment could burn down and people could be burned or killed…

So sorry to hear of your loss. I too was in a house fire. On Friday the 13th, no less. My small dog chewed the wire to a radio on my nitetable, causing the rug to burn in my bedroom. I woke up to the whole room on fire, with me still in the bed. My father came running in, after my screams, to pick me up and rescue me. G’Day,

I’m really sorry to hear of your misfortune Chris, but I’m really happy to hear no-one was hurt.

I’ve already written an article explaining to people that when they buy a house, it’s really important to know who the builder was. There are so may “D.I.Y’ers” in the world today and rarely are they qualified “Tradies”. Why is this important?

You see, they eventually sell the house and move on ~ but they leave the defects with the new owner.

The new owners don’t know that qualified tradespeople didn’t build their house so are unaware that there could be problems just waiting to happen.

I’m not saying that this happened in this instance, but it is a possible cause.

Solution? Ask any owner selling a house the history of the house. You may be disappointed but it is better to be disappointed at that stage than like this.

All the best Chris and I look forward to seeing your new product!

Jan

I have never heard of a power strip catching fire. My boyfriend is always coming up with ways to cool of his laptop for he fears that it is getting to hot. I wonder if that could be a possibility. Sorry about your luck.
Sincerely,
Patricia

sorry to hear about your fire. I just moved into a new home and had extra outlets installed so I can have more than a power strip linked to my equipment.
glad no one was hurt.

Dear Chris,
I really would like to believe your picture/editorial
but come on. Give us a break.

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this, but most surge protectors come with an attached equipment warranty. A lot of them even cover lightning damage. If you happen to have a record of your powerstrip purchase, you should look into filing a claim.

That sucks that you lost that much equipment by the way.

Hi Chris,
I reckon you are blessed that the whole house didn’t go up. It reminds me of a doco about people spontaneously combusting, and the fat of the body being the fuel, and their clothes the wick, and that’s all that burns to ash, is the body…

Looking forward to GC3 - PPC sure works for us.
Matt.

Chris, you would be well served to consider a non-MOV (metal oxide varistor) surge protector. Most surge protectors on the market use MOVs. Here are a few that don’t, and they are what the pros use. I recommend browsing through the FAQs on these sites:

Surge-X
Panamax
Brickwall
(a rebadged brand of Surge-X, but has a lot of info on their site)

Hopefully one of these can prevent fiery surprises for you in the future.

Jeez Mate,

Sorry to hear about the fire … glad no one got hurt! My mom wasn’t so lucky - a few years ago her house burned down and she lost one of her old dogs in the fire.

Look forward to the update and hope that everything will be back to normal again for you soon :)

Hi, Chris

Sorry to see the damage mate, that’s lousy. At least everyone’s ok - including your beloved beagle.

I use to write a lot of music for a living and would lose data once in a while. The only consolation was that the rewrite/record was always twice as fast and always better than the original. Hope that carries through to you. Let’s face it, your product’s hot! (sorry but the puns just leap out).

Good luck and onto bigger and better things!

Hi Chris
Just wanted to let you know how heart broken I was when looking at the photos. Myself as well as everyone else can understand what your mind must have went through. The most important thing is that no one was injured and your still with us. Will be looking forward to your upcoming articles.

Happy to hear everyone is fine

Hello Chris,

I am sorry that this happened. Computers and lightning just do not mix. You are fortunate that the house was concrete because you would have lost it.

I am new to Google Cash, “less than a week”, I look forward to learning and working with you.

As a firefighter and a fire inspector, I have seen too much of the above pictures. I did have to rescue a full size dog from a second story window in a fully involved house one night. Someone like me would have been there for your dog also.

Take care,
Dave

Hi,

You have my sympathy, what a monster pain in the ass. Electrical items are designed to fail safe. They don’t always do that but usually do. I would look elsewhere for the cause. Perhaps your laptop’s battery failed. There have been many recent battery recalls from Dell and others.

Good luck!

Hi Chris and Family, If I know it is going to rain, storm, or lightning, I unplug everything. Including big screen TV. Just a precaution but it works. Everything is plugged into a powerstrip so all I have to unplug is one thing. Chris , I wish youall the very best and hopefully some day you and I will meet.God Bless. Carlos

Sorry to hear about the fire. Glad you all including the pooch are Okay. I am a retired electrician and have never heard of a power strip catching fire, but if it was an ungrounded outlet you were asking for trouble.

Thanks for Google Cash, I have not made a fortune but it sure has paid the mortage payment and I have a lot of fun with it.

Take care.

Chris, I worked in disaster restoration for years, doing sppecialty reconstruction after fires and floods, etc, in homes. Lightning can do incredible things, including causing fires like you had. Its hard, and scary, but more people have fires this way than you would think. NOw, the disaster is over… and the important thing is that you have professio
